Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep expertise around our brand; products, capabilities and services in order to add value to our customers and their businesses
  • Engage in outbound sales activities to cross-sell, provide alternative solutions, and seek new projects for our partnership
  • Follow-up on quotes and stay close to projects through to installation
  • Develop strong relationships with key accounts with focus on understanding their needs and how we can be helpful
  • Develop strategic account plans and continuously refine with the objective of capturing new ways to enhance the client experience while maximizing sales volume
  • Carefully qualify projects to develop comprehensive understanding of customer objectives while determining how we may be of best service
  • Be diligent in identifying opportunities for advocacy on behalf of our customers
  • Have a deep understanding of the textile industry and competitive landscape with the objective of being a valued resource to our customers
  • Create and update comprehensive weekly sales reports for review with Sales Support Manager
  • Collaborate with Sales Support Manager, Sales Coordinators, and Showroom Coordinators to ensure that we as a team are serving our clients in the best possible way

Requirements:

  • College degree in business, design, or related field
  • Exemplary organizational skills
  • Design Acumen  a plus
  • Ability to manage detailed projects while maintaining vision of the broader goal and outcome for the territory and company
  • Verifiable track record in successfully growing a territory and meeting sales goals
  • Professionalism and maturity in social business settings
  • Articulate and thoughtful
  • Gracious communicator; both oral and written
  • Curiosity & desire for growth
