Hospital program looking for temporary Dietician to cover maternity leave.
Hours: Monday – Friday, flex start between 7:30 and 9:00am
Job Description:
- Perform diversified duties as a member of the interdisciplinary team involving directing nutritional care for patients on various assigned nursing units.
- Screen patients for nutritional risks, assess patient nutritional status, providing teaching to patients and families, etc
- Responsible for developing nutrition care plans with established goals based on standards of care and sound scientific principles.
- Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary approach to achieve positive patient outcomes. Communicate effectively with patients and other providers both verbally and in the EMR.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition with an accredited program of supervised experience is required.
- Registration by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and a valid Dietitian license from the Division of Professional Licensure is required.
- Three (3) years of clinical experience is preferred
