Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or relevant certification preferred.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in accounting, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role with a focus on manufacturing and inventory valuation.
  • Experience in cost accounting, tax management, SAP utilization, and inventory valuation within a manufacturing context.
  • Proficient in using accounting software, MS Excel, and SAP.
  • Provide adequate levels of support to internal stakeholders

Job Duties:

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Utilize current ERP system (SAP) for efficient financial data management and reporting to leverage the capabilities for the required financial processes, including but not limited to product costing, inventory management, and financial reporting, etc.
  • Implement and manage cost accounting systems specifically tailored to manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct regular cost reviews and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance the organization’s competitiveness in the market.
  • Oversee the accurate valuation of inventory, considering various costing methods (FIFO, LIFO, weighted average) and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with the operations and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting, particularly within the manufacturing domain.

Pay Rate:

  • $50/ hour
