About the Role

Complete Staffing Solutions has partnered with a quickly growing organization in the A/E/C consulting space to look for a new Accounts Payable Manager.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Accounts Payable Manager will play a critical role in managing high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable operations. This newly created position is designed to support the company’s continued growth, centralizing financial processes for 15 acquired portfolio companies while fostering team development and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the accounts payable team, including a remote team in the Philippines, to ensure high performance and growth.
  • Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, expense reporting, and timely vendor payments.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers and vendor statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, tax laws, and accounting regulations.
  • Prepare and present weekly reports on accounts payable metrics, cash flow forecasts, and vendor performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounts payable operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, resolving payment issues, and negotiating favorable terms.
  • Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to align processes and improve workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable or finance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven expertise in high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable.
  • Experience managing remote teams (required).
  • Familiarity with Sage and Bill.com systems (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
