Schedule: 40 hours per week, must be flexible to work 8-hour shift between the below times, must work 1 late shift per week
Monday 7AM-7PM
Tuesday 7AM-7PM
Wednesday 7AM-7PM
Thursday 7AM-5PM
Friday 7AM-5PM
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of medical call center / high-volume call experience
- Knowledge in any EMR (practice uses eClinicalWorks, NaviNet, Helio – training provided)
Responsibilities:
- Manage phone calls and triage/manage calls from patients, pharmacies, insurance companies, and other facilities
- Schedule patient appointments
- Perform insurance verification
- Follow up on patients with missed appointments
- Obtain authorization for motor vehicle and workers compensation patients
- Monitor webchat via Snap Engage daily and respond to patient inquiries
- Mange calls from hospitals and physician offices and route to the appropriate people
- Create phone encounters as necessary
- Interact with other departments within the organization
- Responsible for timely and accurate completion of timesheets/time records for hours work and payroll processing, time records must be completed and approved no later than close of business day of each pay period
- Responsible for timely completion of new hire training, departmental training, and yearly compliance training on an ongoing basis
- Perform other duties as requested by management
