- Monday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm
- Monday-Friday 11pm- 7:30am

Job Description
Overview: The CNA is responsible for the implementation of resident services by assisting with activities of daily living, activity programs and dining services. The provision of these services must be performed to ensure the health, welfare, safety, and independence of our residents is of primary concern.
Responsibilities:
- Works well with residents: shows understanding and patience.
- Assists residents’ relatives, visitors, and guest as needed.
- Maintains a positive and professional environment and projects a calm and competent image.
- Puts resident service first. Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere and recognizes individuals needs’ and rights.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, in a professional and efficient manner.
- Make both occupied and unoccupied beds.
- Assist residents with transfers.
- Assist residents with ambulation, which may include wheelchair mobility.
- Answers emergency call lights and responds appropriately.
- Provide assistance to residents, and participate in exercise programming and other activity programs.
- Actively encourage resident participation in exercise programming and Community activities.
- Participate in set up of dining room as directed, serve meals to residents, and assist residents during meal time as necessary.
- Adhere strictly to the system of medication administration
- Practice safety procedures and comply with established reporting of accidents and injuries to staff members or residents.
- Assist with preparation of meals and general dishwashing.
- Assist in general housekeeping including all common areas & resident room and laundry as needed. Maintain a neat and professional environment.
- Follow procedure for medication reminders to ensure correct day, time, and that they are indeed taken.
- Report all changes in residents’ health status, gives report both on-going and off going shifts by oral and written logs.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a residential senior living environment or healthcare preferred.
- Must have training in CPR/First Aid or be willing to receive Community sponsored training.
- Participation in medication training course may be required.
- Must be able to read, write, follow written instructions, and understand the English language.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other associates and to relate well with residents.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Physical Requirements: Requires frequent sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stooping, bending, twisting, pushing and walking. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to operate standard housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, etc.
