Conflicts Specialist

National Law firm seeks an experienced Conflict Specialist. Firm offers a hybrid work environment with 2 days work on site per week. 
 

Essential Functions:

  1. Review intake forms to ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures.
  2. Perform formal conflicts searches using Boolean logic and corporate research methods.
  3. Escalate conflict hits to Conflicts Attorney(s) when necessary.
  4. Verify documentation for necessary clearances and approvals.
  5. Review engagement letters for accuracy in parties, rates, and standard language.
  6. Maintain accurate client matter records and handle attorney allocation changes.
  7. Assist firm personnel by addressing questions related to the intake process.
  8. Complete special administrative projects as assigned.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Strong analytical skills.
  2. Timely and accurate work execution.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  4. Excellent communication, multitasking, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  6. Demonstrated ownership mentality, flexibility, creativity, initiative, tenacity, and a positive attitude.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  1. High school degree/GED required.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of conflicts experience; Aderant experience preferred.

Salary $75-90,000 depending on experience.
