Contracts/Insurance Compliance Specialist

  • Insurance Liaison:
  • Act as the primary point of contact between our company and insurance providers.
  • Coordinate the procurement and renewal of workers’ compensation and general liability policies.
  • Work closely with insurance brokers to secure insurance and conduct audits.
  • Monitor policy compliance and address any discrepancies or issues that arise.
  • Contract Review and Modification:
  • Review client contracts to identify insurance-related requirements and obligations.
  • Collaborate with l business development teams to ensure contracts align with insurance policies, regulations, and favorable terms and pricing for the company.
  • Modify contract terms as necessary to mitigate risks and protect the interests of the company.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on insurance-related matters and provide recommendations for contract negotiations.
  • Risk Management:
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential liabilities and exposures.
  • Develop strategies to minimize risks associated with insurance coverage and contract agreements.
  • Stay informed about changes in insurance laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of insurance policies, contracts, and related correspondence.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on insurance coverage, contract status, and risk management initiatives.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, or related field.
  • Previous experience working in insurance, risk management, or contract administration preferred.
  • Strong understanding of workers’ compensation and general liability insurance principles and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in contract review and analysis.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and contract law is a plus.
