Seeking a dedicated and intellectual Controller to join our growing team. You will play a key role in supporting the company’s growth by providing accurate and timely financial reporting, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and experience in managing all aspects of a company’s financial operations. .



  • Develop and lead a high-performing accounting and administrative team – one accountant and office manager. 
  • Partner with the Business Manager and key managers to ensure alignment with business philosophies and financial goal
  • Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for achieving goals and contributing to business success.
  • Oversee all company accounting functions, including:
  • Financial reporting
  • Cash management
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Working with a CPA to implement tax planning strategies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly and weekly reporting, including P&L statements, budget vs. actual reports, and dashboard reports.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely distribution of paychecks.
  • Managing deductions and taxes
  • Setting departmental goals and budgets.
  • Providing managers with the information and reports needed to build budgets.
  • Consolidating and finalizing the company-wide budget.
  • Manage all indirect expenses and ensure timely and accurate payment of all vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with all HR and payroll regulations.
  • Oversee and manage the payroll process, including:
  • Processing payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees on a bi-weekly schedule.
  • Reporting and filing all required payroll reports.
  • Implement HR processes, systems, and procedures to ensure the right number of qualified employees are available to meet company goals.
  • Manage performance management and top grading processes.
  • Oversee recruitment activities to achieve recruiting goals.
  • Implement best practices for financial responsibility related to information technology, building/property, and personnel.
  • Oversee compliance with workers’ compensation, general liability, and other insurance policies.
  • Participate in the implementation and maintenance of information technology systems and security company-wide.
  • Perform front office duties as needed, including data entry, billing, accounts receivable management, and timekeeping.
  • Manage claims and vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a controller or similar accounting role
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
