Human Resources Manager
Reports to: Director of Human Resources
Summary:
The HR Manager oversees HR operations, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, leave administration, and delegation of tasks. Collaborates on firm-wide HR initiatives and ensures compliance with employment laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply Federal and State employment laws
- Address performance and training needs with staff
- Manage benefits administration, payroll updates, and staff communication
- Support managers with HR guidance and discipline processes
- Work on national HR projects (compensation, D&I, talent management, etc.)
- Conduct exit and new hire interviews
- Maintain organized HR records and collaborate with Payroll
- Improve employee retention and morale
- Create and update job descriptions
- Handle staff complaints and HR-related matters
- Participate in policy creation and enforcement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field (HR certification preferred)
- 5+ years of HR experience, ideally in law or professional services
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS (Dayforce a plus)
- Knowledge of HR strategies and practices, fostering a culture of inclusivity and teamwork
Salary Range $100-120,000
