National Law firm seeks HR Manager

Human Resources Manager
Reports to: Director of Human Resources

Summary:
The HR Manager oversees HR operations, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, leave administration, and delegation of tasks. Collaborates on firm-wide HR initiatives and ensures compliance with employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply Federal and State employment laws
  • Address performance and training needs with staff
  • Manage benefits administration, payroll updates, and staff communication
  • Support managers with HR guidance and discipline processes
  • Work on national HR projects (compensation, D&I, talent management, etc.)
  • Conduct exit and new hire interviews
  • Maintain organized HR records and collaborate with Payroll
  • Improve employee retention and morale
  • Create and update job descriptions
  • Handle staff complaints and HR-related matters
  • Participate in policy creation and enforcement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field (HR certification preferred)
  • 5+ years of HR experience, ideally in law or professional services
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS (Dayforce a plus)
  • Knowledge of HR strategies and practices, fostering a culture of inclusivity and teamwork

Salary Range $100-120,000
