HVAC Control Technician 
Location: Milford, CT

Pay Rate: $42.28/hour + $2.20/hour shift differential
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime required, typically 12-hour shifts with 4 hours before or after the standard shift)
Training Period: 6-12 months on 1st shift

Benefits:

  • PTO: 6 days after 6 months, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years

Requirements:

  • S1 or S2 license required
  • Drug screening and background check

Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and repair HVAC systems in an industrial setting.
  • Operate and maintain central plant equipment (chillers, boilers, cooling towers, compressors, pumps, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues.
  • Respond to emergency system failures.
  • Document maintenance activities in the computerized system.
  • Use Building Automation Systems to monitor and ensure proper equipment operation.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per schedule.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and management on work progress.
