Ambulatory LPN needed for hand clinic.
Monday thru Friday 8:30a-5p
13 week contract
Responsibilities
- Assists in patient assessment according to standard procedure and needs of patient and their families
- Administers medications, performs treatment therapies, and operates equipment according to policy and procedure
- Assists in implementation and evaluation of care plan including long and short-term goals, nursing actions and teaching
- Documents patient care according to standard procedure
- Records and reports observed
- symptoms, reactions, treatments and changes in patient condition to L.I.P. and or R.N. and assists in analyzing and interpreting patient data
- Assists physician with treatments, procedures, and special tests as required or directed
- Collaborate with other health care providers to ensure quality and continuity of care
- Completes hospital admission and Emergency Room transfer process
- Under the direction of a L.I.P. and or R.N., performs clinical or telephonic triage, identifies patient needs, implements recommended interventions and coordinates patient care
- Cares for patients with peripheral access devices
- Ability to take direction from a patient or provider, adjusts equipment, observe and describe patient observations
Requirements
- MA LPN Licensure
- BLS/CPR Certification thru AHA only
- 1-2 years of applicable LPN experience – did not specific if outpatient was required, would try
- Epic experience helpful
