We are in the market for a litigation paralegal to join our esteemed team, contributing to the administration and litigation of various cases. 


The right fit for this role would have a bachelor’s degree and between 2-4 years of experience in civil litigation. A successful candidate will exhibit excellent attention to detail, superior organizational abilities, and effective time management. **Duties & Responsibilities**:

– Keep track of case documentation and update in-house databases
– Assess and summarize discovery documents
– Prepare initial drafts of legal pleadings, including answers and discovery responses
– Compile and file court motions at both state and federal levels
– Cite-check and proofread legal briefs and materials
– Conduct legal research using resources like Westlaw
– Manage both hard copy and digital document production processes
– Organize key documents in binders for different litigation phases
– Create summaries for deposition witnesses
– Perform initial client screenings for prospective cases
– Sustain positive interactions with firm lawyers, clients, co-counsel, and vendors
– Monitor and document billable time to meet set requirements
– Provide administrative support throughout litigation phases, including discovery, trial, and appeals

**Skills & Tools Preferred**:

– Familiarity with legal software such as Westlaw, PACER, regional e-filing systems, and time-management applications is an asset.

**Compensation & Benefits**:

– Annual Salary: $50,000
– 401(k) and 401(k) matching

**Work Schedule**:

– Standard 8-hour shifts
– Monday through Friday
– No travel required

– Minimum of 2 years in Civil Litigation Paralegal role (preferred)
