Maintenance Mechanic

Qualifications:
* Mechanical and Electrical maintenance training and aptitude (trade license not required)
* 5 yrs+ experience in maintenance of industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment
* Experience with metal fabrication / parts production preferred  
* Good familiarity with drives, gearboxes, and motors
* Experience with machining or welding an asset
* Knowledge of electrical maintenance 480V and under (wiring, circuits, power suppliers, PLC troubleshooting, etc.)
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Good interpersonal skills and a team player with a safety-first attitude
* Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
* Willing and able to work assigned shift as required
Duties:
* Repair, maintaining and/or overhauling automated and PLC controlled fabrication equipment as needed
* Troubleshooting fabrication equipment – mechanical and any electrical (wiring, circuits, power supplies, etc.), 480V and under  
* Participating in PM program
* Complete all maintenance work in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety Act of Ontario and industrial regulations
* Perform other duties as assigned
