Pay: $23-26/hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM

Requirements:Â

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
Must have Medical Assistant diplomaÂ
Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Responsibilities:

Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height
Show patients to examination rooms and prepare necessary equipment for healthcare providers
Record patientsâ€™ medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records
Assisting surgeons with procedures such as excisions, hemorrhoid banding, etc.
Perform general office duties such as answering telephones, taking dictation, or completing insurance forms
Act as a liaison with other departments and advocates for patients with a positive customer services approach
Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for testing
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean and supplies stocked
Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies
