Medical Assistant – Dermatology office
Location: Livingston, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8-5
- 8 hour shifts
- Flexible schedule to work an evening shift each week (until 8pm) and some Saturdays (rotated thru all MAs)
Pay: $21 – $22/hr DOE
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- MA diploma from accredited school
- National Certification not required but preferred
- Phlebotomy experience a plus!
- EMR experience (any is fine, they will train on ModMed)
- Prior dermatology experience preferred, not required
- Displays interest in derm specialty
- Proficiency with computers
- Medical terminology
- Superior customer service
- must be a team-player, have a positive attitude and be reliable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dermatology experience is a plus!
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Perform routine clinical tasks and chart documentation
- Assist with procedures
- Call patients with results
