International law firm seeks an experienced paralegal with 5+ years of Patent Prosecution experience to join its Dallas team.

As a patent prosecution paralegal, your responsibilities include preparing and prosecuting patent applications both domestically and internationally, which entails handling electronic filings. You’ll assist attorneys in drafting and editing various prosecution documents for submission to the USPTO, such as new applications, responses to office actions, and information disclosure statements. Additionally, you’ll support in drafting and filing Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) applications and collaborate with foreign counsel on patent application prosecution and maintenance abroad, managing payments and communication with external parties. You’ll review notices of allowance, prepare declarations and certificates of correction, and ensure accurate client reporting of correspondence and completed tasks. Maintaining status reports, updating dockets, and performing individual actions as required are also part of your role. Lastly, you’ll handle any other duties assigned to meet billable hour and performance targets.

Firm offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days in office, and two days work from home.
