Patient Service Representative

Patient Service Representative 
Location: Haverhill, MA
Pay: $20-22/hr
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm

  • Perform patient registration functions for new and existing patients.
  • Print schedules and call patients 24 hours in advance to confirm appointments.
  • Answers all incoming calls quickly using the appropriate uniformed script. 
  • Screens calls and determine if:
  1. PSR can assist patients with request(s).
  2. Take a message and explains that patient will receive a call back.
  3. or transfer calls to a specific department for resolution.
  • Collect co-pays and issue receipts. 
  • Schedule follow-up, new patient, prenatal etc. appointments with patients’ clinicians or activate recall list as ordered.
  • Assist patients in filling out and completing Virtual Gateway Applications and explain Center policies.


  • Training in a Medical or Administrative field
  • Bilingual (Spanish / English) required.
  • Computer knowledge required.
  • Excellent communication skills required.


  • High School diploma or GED certificate
