PAYROLL COORDINATOR
COMPENSATION: $65,000.00 PLUS COMPANY BONUS

We are seeking a detail-oriented payroll professional. This position will report to the Payroll Systems manager. The ideal Payroll Coordinator is motivated, proactive, and customer service oriented and is looking for an exciting opportunity. Experience with UKG (Kronos) Workforce Ready is a must and ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure that payroll processing and auditing functions are accurate and completed on time to meet biweekly and monthly payroll deadlines for 800+ employees.
- Runs weekly and monthly processes; troubleshoots any issues that arise.
- Process wage increases and calculate retro pay as needed.
- Update wages and PTO rules per Union CBA’s.
- Calculate and process PTO payouts as needed.
- Assist in preparing payroll reports as required for audits and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in preparing accounting reports.
- Works with payroll team to ensure transactional processes comply with outlined policies and procedures.
- Assist in benefit-related payroll projects, withholdings, and reporting.
- Account reconciliations.
- Audit employee Payroll data.
- Understanding of Accruals, system maintenance and policies.
- Accrual audits and maintenance.
- Serves as a backup for the responsibilities and processes of the payroll department where appropriate.
- Audit and process CA Meal & Rest Break items to ensure compliance.
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- BA/BS or 5 years equivalent payroll experience.
- Experience working with UKG Workforce Ready is required.
- Experience working with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive data.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-company environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Understanding and Experience with Union CBA’s.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
