PA – Pediatrics

Private practice that was established in 2003.  We are an urban practice with diverse patient population. The practice has experienced high level success and continued growth. Current medical staff consists of 3 pediatricians and 3 nurse practitioners. We are seeking a physician assistant. They will have responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, providing comprehensive patient care, participate actively in our collaborative, team-based care system, and efficiently use and maintain electronic medical records to deliver outstanding healthcare.

Salary: $75,000 – $95,000
Schedule: Full time, 4-day work week (32 HPW) or open to Part time, 3-day work week (24 HPW)
Location: Buffalo, NY

Requirements:

  • Proper degree, training, and certification for position.
  • Looking for a candidate with at least 6-12 months recent pediatrics experience
  • Licensed to practice in NYS prior to start date.
  • Personal skill set that includes the ability to make eye contact, listen actively, and have empathy, while being helpful, productive, and efficient.
  • Outstanding clinical abilities, sound judgement, and excellent verbal communication.
  • Flexibility to the needs of the practice.
  • Must be dependable and punctual.
  • Engaged in learning and continued quality improvement.
  • Coachability and ability to receive constructive feedback.
  • Provide related professional references.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding healthcare to infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Ensure care is delivered in an efficient, consistent, and thorough manner.
  • Efficiently use and maintain electronic medical records.
  • Learn and follow policies and procedures of the practice.
  • Ensure performance improvement initiatives are supported through consistent action and active participation.
  • Participate in all efforts deemed necessary by the practice to maintain it’s current highest status of certification as a patient centered medical home.
  • The practice requires no managerial or business administrative work from the pediatrician. We have a full administrative staff, including managing partners and a practice manager.
