Production Manager 
Location: Pawtucket, RI 
Hours: Full-time hours 
Salary: $100k+ (DOE) 

Requirements: 

5+ years of production management experience REQUIRED 
Manufacturing background REQUIRED 
Strong leadership skills REQUIRED 

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee Production Operations: Manage and supervise the production of multi-material displays and retail fixtures, ensuring quality standards, deadlines, and efficiency are met.
Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of operators, assemblers, and other production staff to achieve production goals.
Resource Allocation: Optimize resource use, including labor, machinery, and materials, to ensure efficient production workflows.
Schedule Management: Create and manage production schedules, prioritizing tasks and ensuring that production timelines are met.
Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain high product standards and minimize defects or errors.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve production processes, identifying opportunities to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve output.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all production activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
Collaborate with Engineering: Work closely with the engineering team to ensure manufacturability and feasibility of new product designs.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years of experience in production management, preferably in manufacturing environments related to displays, retail fixtures, or similar industries.
Knowledge of Materials: Familiarity with a range of materials used in display and fixture manufacturing (e.g., metals, plastics, wood, paints, and coatings).
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage a team.
Project Management: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and software for production management (e.g., ERP systems).
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with various teams, stakeholders, and suppliers.
Lean Manufacturing: Experience with lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement processes (Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.) is a plus.
