We have partnered with a global manufacturer and distributor of Telecom equipment who is adding to their Quality Control team!
Comp: $26 – 32/hour with a schedule of 8am – 5pm Mon-Fri (40-45 hour work week)
The Senior Quality Control Technician maintains quality control systems designed to ensure manufacturing excellence consistent with established standards and customer specifications.
Essential Skills:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Be familiar with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, PAS24000, ECOVADIS, HR30415 and European Standards
- Ability to perform First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR). Knowledge of PPAP, AS9102, etc.
- Proficient in the use of handheld measuring tools and optical comparators.
- Perform Customer specific quality testing, if required.
- Ability to use micrometers, vernier calipers, height gage, comparator, miscellaneous measuring equipment, and specifications.
- Inspect product for compliance to blueprints/drawing requirements.
- Coordinate calibration efforts of all inspection equipment and maintain logs.
- Design, develop and oversee inspection-gauging equipment.
- Develop inspection plans for each production part.
- Perform receiving inspection examination of incoming materials, ensuring that they meet all requirements.
- Perform the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization’s products.
