Bilingual Receptionist – Nonprofit

Location: NY, New York (Harlem)
Temp Pay: $21 – $25/hr
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 4:30pm

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be bilingual English/Spanish
- High volume in-person (especially during mornings)
- Must be able to multi-task
- Experience with using computers, answering phones
Job Duties
- Enter client data in internal system
- Scanning, creating business cards
- Maintain coverage at the front desk at all times
- Responsible for all front desk duties including answering phones, greeting clients, monitoring sign-in sheet and checking clients in and out of the program
- Monitor and maintain waiting area and inform management of any client security related issues immediately
- Responsible for collection of participants’ timekeeping documentation in both hard copy and electronic form, reviewing documentation carefully to ensure documentation is in compliance with program policies and procedures
- Assist with MetroCard distribution to eligible clients and obtain client signatures in the MetroCard Log
- Assist with scanning, and making copies for clients, staff and program needs, including copies and scanning of handouts and other materials for daily orientation and other workshops
- Assist with attendance tracking and meeting timekeeping deadlines for all CareerCompass clients and ensure accuracy of reporting engagement activities
- Assist with restocking of office supplies and kitchen pantry items daily
- Conduct Inventory and monitor supply usage and prepare monthly supply request within allocated budget
- Assist Business Manager with data analysis and reconciliations, as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned.
