Receptionist/Customer Service

Temp to Hire or Direct Hire
$22-24 per hour
M-F | 9am-5pm
In Office – Nashua, NH

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1-2 years experience in a reception, customer service, or office admin role
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus
  • Very personable, will be the first person to greet visitors
  • Proficient phone and computer skills

Responsibilities:

  • Answer multi-line telephone system, take accurate messages and transfer telephone calls to the appropriate person in an efficient manner.
  • Greet and screen incoming visitors in a professional manner and promptly notifie appropriate person of their arrival.
  • Open and distribute incoming mail on a daily basis, and prepare outgoing mail using postage meter.
  • Receive and sign for packages, and deliver to the appropriate person promptly.
  • Operate standard office equipment including:
    • multi-line telephone system
    • fax machine
    • photocopy machine
    • postage meter calculator
    • computer/printer
  • Monitor fax machine, direct incoming documents and send documents via fax as requested.
  • Maintain an adequate office supply inventory and requisition additional items as needed.
  • Manage onsite and offsite employee gatherings.
  • Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records.
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other discrepancies.
  • Post all customer payments, deposits, credits, and vouchers.
  • Prepare bank deposits.
  • Act as trade show coordinator for registry, shipping materials and booth set-up and break down.
