Test Technician
Location: Franklin, MA
Hours:

  • Full-time hours
  • Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm

Job Requirements:

  • Interface with Panel Designers and System Engineers
  • Visual inspection
  • Validate workmanship of completed panel assemblies
  • Point to point wiring validation
  • Power Up (line voltages up to 480 VAC 3PH)
  • PLC Program uploads?
  • Interconnecting field devices such as motors, sensors, switches
  • Perform system tests to validate correct device and system functions
  • Photo documentation of finished panel, mark-up of engineering drawings (red-lines) to ?as-built? and preparation of engineering change orders
  • Document test findings, and write and update test procedures
  • Manufacturing support as required
  • Understanding of basic electric theory and functionality of electrical components
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Operate pallet jack as needed
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, PDF creation, digital camera operation, and cloud-based file storage
  • Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years? experience in electrical testing in a manufacturing environment with a preference in testing electrical control panels
  • Familiarity with UL508A and IPC A620 preferred
  • Experience using standard tools for testing, including multimeters, oscilloscope, ?etc.?
  • Requires a thorough understanding/training

Pay Rate:

  • $25-29/ hour
