  • POSITION: VP of Finance
    JOB SUMMARY: Directs and manages the accounting, cash management, grants, and budget
    functions. Provides analytics to maximize frnancial efficiency, set and tracks key performance
    indicators (KPIs) and objectives and revenue analytics to help the organization capture revenues
    Minimum Job Requirements:

  •  Master’s degree or the equivalent
  • Minimum three years related experience.
  •  Proficiency with spreadsheet accounting, cash flows, and budget creation and monitoring
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
  •  Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and Board of

  •  High level of understanding of the federal and state grants.
  • CPA license preferred.
  •  Multilingual; Spanish speaking preferred.
    Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  •  Direct, coordinate, and evaluate functions in general accounting, accounts payable, accounts
    receivable, banking and investments.

  •  Prepare timely reports and financial statements which summarize and forecast Organization
    business activity and financial position in areas of income and expenses, based on past, present
    and expected operations.
 Lead the efforts in the implementation and training of new financial reports & analysis software
to help enhance the Organization’s efforts in this area to maximize financial efficiency by
providing financial models and forecasting; analyzing current and past financial data; ability to
track and plan budgets; set and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and
revenue analytics to help the organization capture revenues.
  • Support the management team and Department Leaders with data-driven analysis.
  • Monitor departmental budgets and assist the CFO in the preparation of the Organization’s budget.
  •  Assist the CFO in managing the capital budgets, long-term financial planning, and risk
  •  Assist the CFO in strategic initiatives.
  • Recommend strategies to incredse financial performance.
  • Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies, including trustees, state, and federal grant
compliance, 990’s.
  • Coordinate the financial aspects of the grant applications and reporting in the Organization’s
federal, state, and private foundation grants.
  • Prepare annual reports.
  • Work closely with external auditors to produce annual audit.
