Business Support Specialist

Covering for maternity leave from September to potentially December. 

3-4 days a week – 24 hours a week give or take- M-F 8AM-4:30PM

  • Candidate will be dealing with the insurance side of hearing aid business. 
  • Will be cross trained by person going on leave. 
  • Ideally the candidate will be open to travel to Middleton, MA a few times a month for in person training – if we find a solid candidate who is iffy about traveling to Middleton I will still submit and see if we can do a virtual training. 
  • Potential for hybrid 3-4 days in office – clear for in office 
  • Billing and insurance experience is needed 

Responsibilities 

    • Processing Payments and Billing from Insurances
      • Reconciling our CRM Sycle and billing portal.
      • Notifying offices of outstanding balances
      • Quality Control on billing documentation, ensuring billing company is able to process documents
      • Submitting patient reimbursement checks will courtesy billing protocol is used
    • UHCH Portal Administration
    • AR Management
    • Provide ongoing support on billing procedure, courtesy billing procedure, and UHCH portal procedure.
    • Responsible for support emails on managed care related questions.

Requirements 

  • Prior medical receptionist work 
  • Experience with billing / insurance work is preferred
