Job Description:
The bookkeeper will oversee the company’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. Perform various accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting to our CPA Firm, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.
The bookkeeper must also manage the payroll system and records, to provide to our Payroll Company.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of Financial data by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
Update and maintain the General Leger.
Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system.
Review of Quarterly Reporting (Taxes) and provide payroll data, to Payroll Company.
Monitor any variances from the projected budget.
Maintain and Record accurate Books, Chart of Accounts, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Qualifications/Skills:
Minimum Education: Associates degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
2 years’ experience.
Knowledge of QuickBooks and payroll applications, or like-kind.
High attention to detail and precise data entry skills.
Must be able to pass Department of Public Safety Checks for Issuance of a Security Clearance Certification.
