Location: Jamaica Plain
Hours: Full Time
- 7:00am-3:30pm, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thurs, Fri, every other weekend (Sat and Sun 7:00am-3:30pm)
- Will be off Monday and Friday if they are working the weekend
- Will not go over 40 hpw
Pay : $24-26/hour
Job Description:
- To perform and prioritize the registration of patients to provide the Emergency Department and other areas
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of demographic information and accuracy, completeness and verification of insurance information in all parts of the job.
- Maintains knowledge of Patient Access updates and regulations be reviewing policy/procedures, email notifications, and team One-Note on a regular basis.
- Ensures accurate searching and usage of correct Medical Record information when Arriving or Admitting patients into Epic
- Performs bedside registration within the ED as needed.
- Assists all telephone inquiries from other departments or visitors as needed.
- Maintains knowledge of registration updates by reviewing emails on a regular basis.
