Salary range dependent on experience. (Around $120,000.00- $125,000)

Our client is an established commercial general contractor with repeat customers in multifamily, warehouse and commercial markets across CT. We are seeking a self-motivated Project Manager with experience managing construction projects. The role of the PM is to successfully manage and oversee execution of assigned projects. The PM is responsible for ensuring that all contracted work is executed in accordance with the Company s policies, including contract documents, budget, schedule, safety, quality control and customer satisfaction. The PM is responsible for managing all subcontractors / suppliers on each project while also directing the Superintendent. Ultimately, the PM is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business. This is a salaried, exempt, full-time position that is based Terryville CT.

Minimum Qualifications Include:

5 years of experience as a construction Project Manager

Experience developing project specific budgets and schedules

Able to interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, etc.

Significant knowledge of construction methods

Able to manage subcontractors and vendors

Able to negotiate and track change orders with both owners and subcontractors

Strong knowledge of Office suite programs, especially Excel and Projects (procore a plus)

Able to manage multiple projects and tasks at a time

Able to direct Superintendent to ensure accurate completion of project scope

Able to meet sensitive timelines

Possess valid CT state License, good driving history and dependable transportation to visit project sites

Able to travel to job-sites in state

Preferred qualifications:

Experience project managing construction jobs

Bachelor’s degree in construction management not required (a plus)

Ability to think and react quickly under pressure

Demonstrated leadership abilities

Ability to deal with unforeseen challenges and variety of personality types

High level of customer service
