Hiring for a MSW Social Worker for a healthcare facility in Boston, MA.
Pay: $53/hr
Schedule: M-F 40 hours/week; 8am – 4:30pm. 1 weekend per month required and every other holiday.
Required Exp: 2 years + post MSW, MSW, Medical Social Work, Case Management, Brief Treatment, Renal, ESRD , this is not a discharge planner position.
Preferred Exp: Acute Care, Housing Experience, Substance Use Disorder, Grief and Bereavement , Cultural Responsiveness, Crisis Intervention.
Required Certs: MSW, Mass LCSW .
Additional Details: Utilizing clinical social work techniques and theory, consults on, assesses, and intervenes with high-risk patients and their families regarding the impact/amelioration of emotional and social problems. Duties also include, but are not limited to, conducting psychosocial assessments, making a psychosocial diagnosis, planning and implementing effective treatments, evaluation, education, supervision, coaching and mentoring of the patient (client) and family members. The position consults with, collaborates and communicates with a wide range of social, governmental and legal agencies, courts, schools, clinics, other hospitals, physicians and other sources in the overall care of the patient.
