Skills
? Bachelor?s degree in accounting
? CPA designation is a plus
? Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting
? Experience in the non-profit sector or government
? Knowledge of cost allocation methodologies
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
? Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
? Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities
? Supervise accounting staff and conduct annual performance evaluations
? Mentor and train staff for enhanced efficiency
? Review and approve journal entries and month-end reconciliations
? Oversee daily cash monitoring for cash flow reports
? Upload positive pay files for accounts payable and payroll checks
? Ensure adherence to monthly close calendars and compliance procedures
? Perform balance sheet and income statement analyses as needed
? Assist with the preparation and review of financial reporting
? Manage/supervise general accounting staff during annual audits
? Provide strategic financial advice to senior management
Qualifications
? Bachelor?s degree in accounting
? CPA is a plus
? Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
? Experience preparing financial statements?
? Knowledge of the non-profit or government sector
? Strong communication and teamwork skills
