Director of HR – Newton, MA?
Job Duties:
*? Director of HR will be reporting to President and CFO
*? Manage a staff of 4 generalists (one focuses on payroll and the other benefits, and the third is support specialist )? .
*? Manage corporate vendor relationships (related to HR)
*? Oversee recruiting as needed
*? Oversee and manage the HR function. This includes, but is not limited to, technical HR matters that are outsourced such as legal, compliance, 401K reporting, onboarding and offboarding of benefits, and benefits administration
*? This person will serve as a liaison between their HR vendors and the employees
*? Help explain and oversee the benefits plan.
*? Work with President, CFO and executive team to review benefits and with benefit renewals?
*? Work with President, CFO and executive team on creating competitive compensation plans and creating incentive plans?
*? Audit HR and Payroll systems to ensure that they are the most effective for the needs of the company
*? Help to lead upcoming Payroll projects and updates
*? EEOC, Workers Compensation, Legal Matters, and heavy Employee Relations focus
Required:
*? 10+ years of HR
*? 3+ years of Management experience
*? Strong Payroll and Payroll Systems experience
*? Experience leading the risk management on personnel matters
*? Bachelor’s degree
Preferred:
*? Experience working with a single workforce comprised of corporate team members and teams scattered at multiple sites, hospitality industry, customer service focused businesses.
*? Payscan or ADP experience preferred
