Hours – 8AM- 5PM ( 40 hours)
Salary $110k-$135k
Experience
- Supervise and support Accounting, A/P, A/R team members, assist with back-up responsibilities
- Develop staff by managing performance, providing direction and training, and fostering strong employee relationships
- Oversee Sales & Use Tax Return filings
- Produce monthly A/R metrics reports
- Assist VP with monthly and year-end closing activities to ensure timely generation of financial statements
- Fixed Asset accounting and reporting
- Work with VP on developing departmental goals, reviewing and updating internal control policies and procedures
- Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, and collections.
- Recruits and hires accounting and financial staff and conducts performance evaluations.
Requirement’s
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and /or MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years progressive accounting experience with ability to coach and manage staff; 2 plus years supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience with General Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Microsoft Dynamics GP and Sage Fixed Assets experience a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- High degree of knowledge in working with MS Office suite of product.
