Job Description: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Construction Project Manager who is experienced in managing large-scale commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing the construction process from start to finish, utilizing Procore for project management, documentation, scheduling, and collaboration with stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects, from pre-construction to project completion.
  • Utilize Procore software for project management, including budgeting, scheduling, document management, and communication.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking milestones and ensuring timely delivery of all project phases.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met and quality standards are upheld.
  • Oversee project budgets and work with the finance team to manage costs, approvals, and change orders.
  • Maintain and manage project documentation using Procore, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for all stages of the project.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, local building codes, and other legal requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project updates to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
  • Lead project team meetings and coordinate project workflows to maintain momentum and meet deadlines.
  • Review and approve contractor invoices, change orders, and other project-related financial documents.
  • Mentor and guide junior project management staff and ensure effective team collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
  • Proven experience using Procore software to manage construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and document control.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, including budgeting, procurement, contract administration, and quality control.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to address project issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and construction specifications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Project.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is a plus.
