About the Role

Complete Staffing Solutions (CSS) has partnered with a quickly growing organization in the life sciences space to look for a new FP&A Associate. 

The FP&A Associate is an integral member of the finance team, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This role is responsible for supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. The position requires close collaboration with functional leaders and offers significant exposure to company leadership. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with experience in financial modeling, operational forecasting, and providing insights to support business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasting.
  • Maintain and update the company’s operational forecast to reflect business priorities.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reports, including Cash Flow, P&L, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct variance analyses to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to provide financial insights and support business planning efforts.
  • Participate in special projects and prepare ad-hoc financial data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reporting and forecasting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (required).
  • Experience with NetSuite, including Planning and Budgeting, is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
