Job Opportunity: Senior Business Development Manager – Litigation

A global law firm seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives for its Litigation practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop business plans, market analyses, and competitive insights to drive growth.
  • Collaborate with practice leaders to execute strategic business development plans.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and manage high-profile RFPs and marketing efforts.
  • Recommend improvements to business development processes.
  • Oversee litigation-related profile-raising events, content development, and lateral integration.
  • Manage business development metrics and reporting.
  • Lead, mentor, and enhance the efficiency of the BD team.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of business development experience in professional services, including team management.
  • Deep knowledge of litigation and effective BD strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technology affinity, data analysis capabilities, and proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and the full MS Office suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or JD preferred.

This hybrid role offers flexibility in work location based on business needs. Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Compensation:
$150,000 – $215,000 (actual salary depends on experience, education, and location) plus bonus
