Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Hours: Full time or Part Time
- Part Time: 1 full day and 3-4 half days (afternoons)
- Full Time: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Location: Middletown RI
Pay: $120 – $140k
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled advanced practice provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our pediatric care medical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting and share our core values of commitment, selflessness, and integrity.
Duties:
- Conduct physical examinations, wellness and sick exams, and patient assessments
- Provide continuity of care for a panel of patients in a supportive environment
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Ensure compliance with medical standards, infection control, and coding practices
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies, doctor of nursing, masters of nursing
- Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in outpatient care, medical office settings, especially family medicine or internal medicine
- Proficiency in medication management
- Working knowledge of medical coding and documentation standards
- Embracing of team based care, patient centered medical home advanced model of primary care
- Valid RI license
Experience:
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)- E-Clinical works
License/Certification:
- PA-C or NP (Preferred)
- Physician Assistant License or NP License (Preferred)
