RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our corporate team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles, with a proven ability to analyze accounts and prepare comprehensive financial statements.
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records, including general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing activities.
- Preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Process Accounts Payable utilizing integration/import tools and leverage technology for process enhancements.
- Prepare, manage, and reconcile financial intercompany transactions.
- Prepare daily sales and cash reports for senior management team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
- Utilize financial software to streamline accounting processes and improve accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years experience in corporate accounting, with a strong understanding of accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger accounting, month end accounting and close processes.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, filters, text to columns, concatenating, etc).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with and present financial information to senior management.
