Field Service Technician – Haverhill, MA 

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Field Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pressure vessels and high-pressure systems. This position requires extensive travel to customer sites to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of pressure vessels and high-pressure equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct pressure tests and safety inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Provide training and technical support to customers regarding system operation and maintenance.
  • Document service visits, including detailed reports on findings and repairs performed.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve product performance and serviceability.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and industry regulations, such as ASME, NBIC, and OSHA.
  • Travel frequently to domestic and international customer sites as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in field service, maintenance, or repair of pressure vessels, industrial equipment, or high-pressure systems.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, P&IDs, and schematics.
  • .
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%) domestically and internationally.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain necessary work permits or visas for international travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of pressure vessel codes and safety regulations (ASME, NBIC, OSHA)
  • Experience with PLCs and control systems
  • Welding and fabrication experience
