Ophthalmic Technician | Providence, RI Schedule: M-F hours vary shift can be: 7:45-4:15 8-4:30 8:30-5 candidate must have flexibility in hours Travel between satellite offices is required. Pay: $20-$22/hr Responsibilities: Obtains and record patient history Checks visual acuities, applanation, dilation Maintains safe, secure and healthy work environment by following policies and procedures; complies with all legal regulations Helps to maintain all exam rooms OCT, Fluorescein Angiography Intravitreal Injection Set ups Assisting with surgical procedures Requirements: Experience in Ophthalmology a plus – 3 years COA/COT certification preferred Effective written and oral communication skills a must Ability to work well under pressure Travel to satellite office required High school diploma or equivalent #zip
