Temp – at least 6 month commitment but could go perm

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm; 9:00am-5:30pm – flexible

Pay: $24-$27/hr

FULLY REMOTE – ideally someone in New England.

  • Candidates MUST have actual setup to work remotely

Job Description:
The Clinical Research Systems Specialist (CRSS) ensures the accuracy of research data , performs centralized subject randomization for initiated clinical trials, conducts feasibility reviews of new protocols, and facilitates activation of protocols and submissions. 

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree or equivalent years of experience. Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts with scientific specialty or other relevant major is preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a medical or scientific research setting is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with written and verbal English.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform randomization and registration of clinical trial subjects
  • Provide after-hours coverage for patient care critical registration issues 
  • Routinely review de-centralized subject registrations for data entry quality control. 
  • Facilitate the activation of new protocols, amendments and other submissions
  • Perform a feasibility review of submissions to verify key operational components and compliance with policies 
  • Create and post study-specific eligibility checklists when necessary.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Able to perform accurate, error-free data entry of research information into electronic systems.
  • An ability to work independently and follow departmental work instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of clinical trial regulations and internal systems.
