Job Title: Corporate Controller

Overview:
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Corporate Controller to lead the accounting operations of our organization. This position is responsible for overseeing the full accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with GAAP, managing internal controls, and delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to support cross-functional business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and payroll accounting

Lead and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements

Prepare internal and external financial reports, including consolidation of multiple entities

Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements; stay current on changes in accounting standards

Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial information

Coordinate and manage annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors

Oversee tax compliance and coordination with external tax advisors

Support budgeting and forecasting activities in partnership with FP&A and executive leadership

Evaluate and improve accounting systems and processes for efficiency and scalability

Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional development and strong performance

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred)

CPA certification preferred

8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, SAP, Oracle, or similar)

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, and work cross-functionally
