Pediatrician – Full-Time or Part-Time | Depew, NY

A well-established pediatric group in Depew, NY is seeking a full-time or part-time Pediatrician to join their physician-led team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to put down roots, build relationships with families, and eventually move into a partnership role. No hospital rounding, no inpatient work — just high-quality outpatient care in a supportive, community-focused setting.


Position Overview

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients from birth through age 20

  • Manage both well-child and sick visits

  • Interpret labs and imaging, review consults, and collaborate with specialists

  • Educate and support families through all stages of pediatric care

  • Participate in contracted school physicals with local districts


Schedule & Call

  • Full-Time: 9 sessions/week (each session = 3.5 hours)

  • Part-Time: Flexible options available

  • Evenings: Open 3 nights/week until 8:30 PM; each provider takes one

  • Call: Shared phone-only call, typically one evening per week or less

  • Weekends: On call every 7th weekend

  • Includes Saturday morning clinic

  • One session off during the same week as comp time


Practice Environment

  • Diverse suburban patient population

  • Ages served: newborns to 20 years old

  • Transition letters sent at 19.5 years to support continuity of care

  • Nurses handle the bulk of incoming calls and triage

  • No hospital or newborn rounding – hospitalists handle all admissions

  • Easy access to a major children’s hospital with NICU (under 30 mins away)

  • Convenient location near a major thruway exit


Technology & Workflow

  • EMR: Medent

  • Charting is completed in-room or immediately post-visit

  • Efficient support staff including RNs, office and nurse managers, and front-line admin team


Qualifications

  • MD or DO with completion of Pediatric residency

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York

  • Strong clinical and interpersonal communication skills

  • Team-oriented with a compassionate, patient-first approach
