Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network/Systems Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients network infrastructure, server infrastructure and workstations to ensure optimal performance and security. This role requires a strong understanding of networking protocols and Windows technologies, as well as hands-on experience with various technology equipment.
Responsibilities
Design, configure, and manage solutions to ensure secure access for users.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls and switches in accordance with best practices.
Monitor systems performance and conduct regular assessments to identify potential security risks.
Implement and maintain TCP/IP, and TCP protocols to ensure reliable data transmission across the network.
Utilize Windows operating systems for server management and network operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support projects and initiatives.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members regarding issues.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Network/Systems Engineer or similar role in a professional environment.
Strong knowledge of VPN technologies, routers, TCP/IP, HTTPS, TCP protocols, and Windows systems.
Ability to perform vulnerability assessments and implement security measures effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
