Therapeutic Day Program Clinician – Float (Springfield/Westfield, MA)
Salary: $50,000/year

A Therapeutic Day Program in the Springfield and Westfield, MA area is seeking a full-time Clinician to support youth with emotional and behavioral needs. This role floats between two program sites and is responsible for implementing treatment plans, monitoring client progress, and supporting program staff in delivering high-quality therapeutic care.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain clinical documentation (IAPs, discharge summaries, intake paperwork).
Lead psycho-educational and life skills groups; create appropriate group curricula.
Provide case management and coordinate services with families, caseworkers, and providers.
Support program staff and assist in supervision in the absence of the Program Director.
Participate in treatment planning meetings, trainings, and professional development workshops.
Help develop monthly therapeutic activity calendars and co-lead recreational programming.
Provide client transportation using agency or personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed when applicable).
Ensure compliance with agency policies and assist with staff training when needed.
Split time evenly between two day programs.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience working with youth with emotional and behavioral needs preferred.
Strong documentation and writing skills.
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between locations.
Must be eligible to obtain certifications in CPR, First Aid, and CPI.
If using a personal vehicle for client transport, proof of enhanced insurance coverage is required.
