Pediatrician (Part Time)

Part-Time Pediatrician (3–4 Days/Week)
Location: East Hartford & Manchester, CT (Float Between Sites)

We’re seeking a mission-driven Pediatrician to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a primary care setting. You’ll see patients from birth through age 21, working with a diverse, underserved population while collaborating across disciplines to ensure whole-person health.


Position Highlights

  • Part-time schedule: 3–4 days/week

  • Floating between East Hartford & Manchester sites (East Hartford may become primary)

  • See patients up to age 21

  • Salary estimated up to $200K, depending on experience

  • 1 year of post-residency experience preferred

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

  • Two-year employment agreement required


Call Schedule

  • Weekday phone coverage: Up to 5 nights/month

  • Weekend call: ~1 in every 6 weekends

  • Holiday call: 1 holiday/year

  • Shared rotation for vacation/leave coverage and after-hours needs


What You’ll Do

  • Deliver comprehensive primary and acute care to pediatric patients

  • Perform well-child visits, physicals, vaccinations, and developmental screenings

  • Identify and address psychosocial, behavioral, and social determinant issues

  • Educate and counsel patients and families using AAP-aligned resources

  • Collaborate with care teams and specialists for chronic or complex care management

  • Supervise and support PAs and APRNs, including practice agreements and oversight

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in eClinicalWorks (eCW)

  • Participate in student education, quality initiatives, and grant efforts


What You Bring

  • MD or DO with active CT medical license

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatrics

  • Federal/State controlled substance registration

  • MAT certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)

  • Strong team mindset and a commitment to equitable care

  • Experience with medically complex, underserved, and multilingual populations preferred

  • Ability to precept and mentor advanced practice providers
