Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Administer ACA reporting
  • Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies or trends, providing insights for management.
  • Process annual W-2’s timely.
  • Administer wage garnishments as directed by courts and State/ Federal agencies.
  • Process onboarding paperwork for all new hires
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources team to maintain up-to-date employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
  • Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations affecting payroll practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in payroll management .
  • Familiarity with financial software applications, specifically ADP Workforce.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to payroll.
  • Experience in ACA reporting required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of human resources practices as they relate to payroll processing is a plus.
