Registered Nurse – Outpatient Urology/Endourology
Location: New York, NY 10032
Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift

Compensation: $100-120k salary, benefits, and growth opportunities

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Registered Nurse to join a busy outpatient Urology practice. This RN will play a key role in supporting patient care delivery, managing clinical workflows, and ensuring a high standard of patient-centered service. The role involves both direct clinical care and administrative coordination alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Support & Patient Care

  • Support physicians and advanced practice providers during patient visits and office procedures
  • Conduct intake assessments: medical histories, vitals, medication reconciliation
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures; provide education on diagnoses, treatments, and medications
  • Triage patient calls and messages; ensure timely and appropriate provider follow-up
  • Coordinate referrals, diagnostic tests, insurance authorizations, and follow-up appointments
  • Monitor for adverse symptoms or reactions and escalate as needed
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the EMR

Team Collaboration & Workflow Support

  • Participate in daily team huddles and staff meetings
  • Help orient and support onboarding of new nurses and medical assistants
  • Work closely with providers, administrative staff, and clinical team members to ensure continuity and quality of care
  • Contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts and training

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Active RN license in New York State
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (outpatient or procedural setting preferred)

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in Urology or surgical specialties
  • Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation standards
  • Familiarity with insurance authorization processes and care coordination
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
