Manager (Multi Unit) Job Summary: As a Multi-Unit Manager for Union Square Donuts, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our retail locations. Reporting to the General Manager, your main focus will be identifying and creating efficiencies, hiring, training, supervising personnel, as well as overseeing facilities, equipment, and human resources. You will also be responsible for promoting a sense of community and hospitality among staff and customers. Responsibilities: ? Manage staff and supervise day-to-day Front of House teams ? Act as primary point of contact for retail personnel ? Ensure shops are adequately staffed, provisioned, and equipped to provide a superior product and customer experience ? Hire, onboard, develop, and supervise retail personnel to ensure adherence to company culture ? Handle disciplinary action and documentation for Front of House retail staff ? Encourage a positive, fun, hard working environment ? Train and coach all Front of House retail staff and supervisors on current and new standards, policies, and procedures ? Uphold all cleanliness, Servsafe, and safety standards ? Uphold retail policies, programs, and systems to meet or exceed sales, labor, and business goals set in conjunction with the General Manager ? Work alongside staff in the retail shops to continually improve operating efficiency ? Liaise between office staff, production team, and Front of House retail staff ? Handle customer concerns ? Support quality control efforts and manage waste ? Regularly communicate with General manager and leadership team about shop status, needs, and concerns ? Handle cash responsibly; oversee cash handling and training in retail shops Qualifications: ? Servsafe Manager and Allergen certificate ? 1-3 years experience demonstrating progressive growth in responsibility ? Passion for donuts, coffee and people ? Fun loving individual with an appreciation for our company culture ? At least 1 year in a supervisory capacity and/or in retail or specialty store management ? Goal-oriented with ability to demonstrate impeccable integrity and honesty ? Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written ? Demonstrated leadership capacity motivating and unifying teams June, 2025
? Strong customer focus. Anticipate customer needs and take action to meet them and continually search for ways to increase customer satisfaction and improve processes ? Proficient with Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets ? Able to work effectively with people at all levels across the organization ? Self-motivated and able to meet time deadlines ? Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail and accuracy ? Flexibility and patience under variable conditions ? Ability to maintain situational awareness Working Conditions: ? Non-standard work week, including Saturday, Sunday, early mornings and federal holidays. Position requires a regular schedule that includes weekends. Compensation: ?
